To ensure a smooth apple cider making process, you’ll need to have some essential equipment on hand:

• 6.5 Gallon Fermenting Bucket with Lid: A food-grade plastic container with a capacity of 24 liters, complete with a lid and hole for airlock.
• Hydrometer: Monitor fermentation progress by measuring specific gravity.
• Airlock: S shaped airlock or 3 piece airlock. Maintains a sealed but vented environment during fermentation.
• Long Spoon or Paddle: A food-grade plastic spoon with a generous 70 cm / 28 in length for mixing.
• One Gallon or Larger Brewing Pot: Holds 1 or larger gallon of liquid, giving you enough space to make your homemade apple cider.
• Thermometer: A thermometer designed for measuring fermentation temperature.
• Cleanser & Sanitizer: One Step Cleaning Solution or Star San Sanitizer. Ensures your equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized for hygienic apple cider making.
